People often ask me what inspires me as a painter, how important painting is in my life, and what my process involves. I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the insights I gain through my dreams. My aim is to create artwork that carries an uplifting, almost sacred energy—something deeply personal that resonates with the right person. I believe that each painting finds its true owner, as if it speaks directly to them.
I don’t always know the direction a painting will take or what it will become. There’s a creative force that moves through me—what I consider my creative flow—and that guides the process. I wait for the right moment to ignite my creativity, leading the way. My recent paintings capture what makes my heart come alive. Each piece holds a fragment of the universe, and it's incredibly fulfilling to see it find its rightful home.
Art allows me to express myself in ways that words never could. The creative process liberates me from the constraints of language, enabling me to communicate on a deeper level. I find my inspiration through divine nature—my dreams, the natural world, and the moon, which embodies the creative feminine. When I meditate, I leave the tangible world behind, immersing myself in the formless and surrendering to the natural flow of creativity.
Nature and my dreams are my deepest sources of inspiration. Everything around me can spark creativity, but I always wait for that organic moment to begin. Art has always been my calling, something I’ve been drawn to since childhood. It’s my way of connecting with the world and sharing that connection with others.
Warmly,
Julia
